High Museum Event Details

At the High Museum of Art Atlanta, Thursday, October 20, 2011, there was an event called Evening For Educators. At this event student-teachers and teachers were given information to help jump-start their career or to enhance their career. Our guest speaker was Kate Mcleod. Kate Mcleod is in the Museum Education field. Kate discussed resources that are available for us from the High Museum of Art Atlanta. Some of Kate Mcleod's resources were, free admission, tours, exhibitions and different workshops. There are also internships available for college and post college (Grad School) students. The internships will help students to build their experiences and their resumes.

High Museum!

Hope everyone had fun at the High Museum on Thursday night! The exhibition I thought was a little small, but it was still great getting to see all the artworks!

If you have any pictures taken at the High, I'd love to have them for the website! Please post that here: http://uwggaea.guildwork.com/albums#/4ea172ce205cb236e3001a15

Feel free to ask any questions, and I will be updating soon on a list of what happened at the High!

*Don't forget, T-shirt designs can still be submitted!

T-shirt Designs, Albums, and Calendar feature!

I wanted to provide a location for everyone to post their T-Shirt Designs!

Please check the website: http://uwggaea.guildwork.com/

I've created a calendar and album feature on another site which is easy to access, and should make knowing what is going on in GAEA West GA really easy!

Recap:
*The Blog Website will have everything relating to meetings / other member talk / etc.
*The Guildwork site (http://uwggaea.guildwork.com/) will have access to photos/albums as well as an easy to check calendar to help you know when meetings are / what's happening during each week.

Hello everyone!

Hey, it's Justin! I just wanted to introduce the new blog to everyone!

I plan on adding updates for GAEA, a calendar of events, and an album for everyone to post pictures and view them! I'm open to any suggestions if anyone has some, and I'll see if I can get it done!
